Happy Gemini Season (May 19th/20th) + Sagittarius Full Moon (May 23rd) y’all!
Yet another beautiful opportunity from the universe to slowwwww it all down, draw your energy in, and take some inventory.

Gemini is an air energy (air=mental), and relates to communication. This is one of the best energies to connect to around your internal (mental) conversation, and there are two different ones: your intuition//soul self (body) and your ego//human self (mind)- bring awareness around where you feel like you are stuck in old narratives (ego) that don’t serve you, and where your intuition (soul) is asking your human self to listen up. It can feel like a lot all at once, so remember to stay connected to your breath as this will support you in creating balance between the intuition (body) & human (mind).
The details are being taken care of behind the scenes. Please stop wasting your precious energy on worrying about connecting dots that are not even there yet. Gemini is a very mental energy and will spiral into overthinking and overwhelm before you know it, which is why it is key to stay connected to your breath + body~ grounding in the information that you are receiving. How would you start to move differently if you knew all the mini details you were worrying about were getting taken care of behind the scenes?
Gemini energy is QUICK and it can be so easy to get lost in the sauce of the swift movement. The way that you create quantum leaps is to move one breath, one step, & one moment at a time. Release instant gratification, and instead choose to fall in love with your process. It’s important to find magic within the mundane tasks of the day to day because it is that type of consistency with the small things that will continue to build the strong foundation below you.
Get to know your breath & your body; further than that, create a relationship with your nervous system (are you in more of a fight/flight/freeze state? do you know what caused this, or what may be contributing to this currently? do you know how to access a rest & digest state?). Remember that breath is the bridge between our mind & body, and when we can slow things down, take a deep inhale & full exhale, we find more presence, create more awareness, and create more pockets of inner peace (rest & digest state).

Anytime we have more of these energies at play we will always feel a bit more on edge & out of our body, which is why it is important to have some go-to tools in your back pocket to ground down & find balance. Gemini Season (now-June 19/20) is an amazing built in opportunity from the cosmos to become more aware of when you are stuck in your mind- to use your breath as the bridge between mind & body - so that you can find more balance into the feeling aspect and get further away from the over thinking part
The best tools, in my opinion, to help you get back into feeling vs thinking:
Breath work- there is no right/one way of breath work. You can do a self guided practice where you become more intentional with each inhale & exhale, or you can choose to be led by someone who will take you through a series of breaths supporting you connect to those deeper feelings & release them
Moving your body- emotions are both stored in our body and are referred to as energy in motion. Do not get me wrong, it is so important to create the space to be still, however, when we sit in stillness without moving any of the energy we have sat with & felt through, it is when this can lead to overthinking and even feeling more stuck. Get out of your head & into your body!! And moving is the most accessible and free way to do it!
Express yourself! Over thinking and under feeling comes from keeping all that pent up energy in. Breath work & body movement are great expressions, and have you ever tried to journal? Have you ever allowed yourself to actually speak your deepest depths out loud? A journal is great because there will be no feedback or opinion, it is just you and your soul self getting it allllll out on that page. Expressing your depths to someone else is also VERY HEALING, and just be aware with whom you are sharing these things with. Find a safe & supportive space where you do not have to make any sense or make the dots connect. Sometimes we have to talk/express in circles before it starts to feel like a forward moving line and it is important to leave any self criticism, judgement, shame, guilt at the door when doing so :)
